Accessibility statement
How PlannerWick works for everyone, the settings you can change, and how to tell us about a barrier.
Our commitment
PlannerWick should work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnifiers, voice control or switch devices, and people with low vision, color blindness, dyslexia, or motion or cognitive sensitivities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, and the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508.
What's built in
- A “Skip to content” link on every page, and a clear heading order.
- Everything can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
- Form fields have labels, errors are written in words, and messages are announced to screen readers.
- Color is never the only way information is shown; timelines and charts also have text.
- Light and dark themes meet AA contrast, and the site respects your device's dark mode and reduced-motion settings.
- Pages reflow on small screens and when zoomed to 400% without sideways scrolling, except the floor plan drawing area.
- Plans can be printed, saved as PDF or downloaded as a spreadsheet, so they can be read with other tools.
Known limitations
We're honest about what isn't perfect yet, and we're working on it:
- Floor plan drawing area: placing and dragging tables is designed for a mouse or touch. Keyboard users can select an item and move it with the arrow keys, rotate with R and delete with Delete. To avoid drawing by hand, use Start with a layout to draw a whole room, Auto-assign seats to seat guests, and a CSV with a Table column to place guests.
- Visual timeline ribbon and room board: these are pictures of the day; the same information is in the timeline list and the schedule table.
- AI-written text: drafts may not use plain language; you can edit every word before sending.
- Linked services such as Pixloud and EntryWick have their own accessibility statements.
Compatibility
PlannerWick is tested with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, with NVDA and JAWS on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and TalkBack on Android. It needs JavaScript.
How we check
We test with automated checks (axe-core) on every main page in light and dark mode, plus manual checks: keyboard-only use, screen readers, 400% zoom, text spacing and reduced motion. We review accessibility whenever we add a feature.
Tell us about a barrier
If anything on PlannerWick is hard to use, please tell us. Email [email protected] with “Accessibility” in the subject and, if you can, the page, what you were trying to do and the device or assistive technology you use. We reply within 2 business days and aim to fix or offer a workaround within 10 business days. If you need information from the site in another format, we'll provide it.
