Terms of use

The rules for using PlannerWick, written to be read.

Last updated November 3, 2026 · Questions: [email protected]

Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and PlannerWick ("PlannerWick", "we", "us") for using plannerwick.com and its tools (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you use PlannerWick for a business, you agree on its behalf. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The Service

PlannerWick offers free planning tools for events: timelines, sunset and weather information, budgets, floor plans and seating, seat finders, multi-day schedules, vendor links, AI-written inquiry replies and proposals, and client approval pages. Many features are new and may change, pause or end. We will try to give notice before removing a feature you rely on, and you can always download your work first.

PlannerWick is part of EntryWick. If paid plans are introduced, they will be offered through EntryWick under their own terms, with prices shown before you pay. Features that are free today will not start charging you without your agreement.

Accounts

You can use the tools without an account. To save plans across devices you sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to your email secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account.

Your content

You own what you put into PlannerWick: plans, guest lists, client details, proposals, notes and layouts ("Your Content"). You give us permission to store, process, copy and display Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you, including showing it to the people you share it with.

You are responsible for Your Content and for having the right to use it. If you add other people's details, such as guests, clients or vendors, you confirm you are allowed to use them for planning the event, and that you'll only share them with people who need them.

AI features

The AI timeline reader and the AI writer produce drafts. They can be wrong, incomplete or worded in a way you don't intend. Always read and edit AI output before you rely on it or send it. Prices, totals and payment schedules in proposals are calculated by the Service from the numbers you enter, not by the AI, but you are responsible for checking them before sending a proposal. Usage limits apply and may change.

Planning information is an estimate

Sunset times, golden hour, typical weather, room capacities, setup changeover times, food and drink quantities and costs, seating counts and timeline suggestions are estimates to help you plan. They are not professional, safety or legal advice. Confirm capacities, fire code limits, accessibility, permits, schedules and quantities with your venue, vendors and local authorities.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone's privacy, intellectual property or other rights;
  • send spam or messages people didn't ask for, including through vendor links or client page emails;
  • upload malware, or try to access accounts, data or systems that aren't yours;
  • overload the Service, get around rate or AI limits, or scrape it with automated tools beyond what robots.txt allows;
  • collect sensitive information such as payment card numbers, government IDs or health details through any tool;
  • impersonate anyone, or mislead clients or guests about who you are.

Shared links and pages

Share links, vendor links, client pages and seat finders can be opened by anyone who has the link or code. You choose who to send them to. You can turn off vendor links, delete client pages and switch off seat finders at any time. A client approving a proposal on a client page is a record between you and your client; PlannerWick is not a party to your agreement with them and does not process payments.

Other services

The Service links to other services, such as Pixloud and EntryWick, and uses providers such as Open-Meteo. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we aren't responsible for them.

Our rights

The Service, its design, code, templates and the PlannerWick name and logo belong to us and our licensors. You may use the templates and the documents you create for your own events and clients. You may not copy or resell the Service itself, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't promise that the Service will always be available, error-free or that it will keep your content forever, so keep copies of anything important.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, PLANNERWICK AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR US $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of Your Content or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, as far as the law allows.

Ending use

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from My events. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the Service or other people at risk, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Any dispute that isn't resolved will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer laws of the place you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.

Everything else

These terms, the privacy policy and the cookie policy are the whole agreement about the Service. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them with the Service. Contact: [email protected], Houston, Texas, United States.
